Although Isaac has traditionally been placed as a son of John Renta Baker. DNA has proved conclusively that this is not possible.
ISAAC BAKER WILL:
Isaac Baker died 19 January, 1818. Abstract of his will as follows: To wife, Hannah, my plantation and 3 Negro men, Charles, Lege, and Jenny, also MY mulatto woman Dine (shades of Thomas Jefferson?), horses and household furniture. To children: Nancy, Elizabeth, and James, to have furniture to set up housekeeping. To Nancy, Negro girl Dine. To Elizabeth, Negro boy Enoc. To son, John, one share less $100. To son Isaac, one share less $600. Children, Rebecca Farnsworth, Jacob, Polly (Mary) Allen. To JOHN and DELILAH Baker, children of WILLIAM Desced., one share (Editors Note: William Baker died in 1814, Bay St Louis, Mississippi Territory, serving in US Army during War of 1812.)
