Children noted on FindAGrave include Elizabeth, b. 7 Jul 1803, d. 3 Sep 1833, Johnson Co KY - apparently never married; Mark b. 23 Mar 1850, d. 28 Aug 1833, Johnson Co IN; Elihu, b. 1 Mar 1809, d. 3 Sep 1833, Johnson So IN - all of these die within days of each other and are buried Mount Pleasant - perhaps Elizabeth was the wife of either Mark or Elihu.
Another son said to be Franklin Hardin, b. 27 Jul 1810, d. 29 Jul 1890, Johnson Co IN - married Ann Goslin. He obviousy survived whatever epidemic killed his siblings - there is quite an impressive monument to Franklin at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.


Although there is no Catherine Hoagland named below, I think there is a good chance she is of the same family. Ann Hartley married Mark Hardin, an uncle of Henry.

1783 June 5th will of John Hartley of Hampshire Co VA, probated March
9 1784. Cornelus Hougland, husband of his daughter Eleanor Hartley was
named one of his executors. The eight children of Cornelus and Eleanor
(Hartley) Hougland were mentioned: Mary, Hannah, Cornelius, Macey,
Margaret, Eleanor, and Ann. At the time of the probate of the will, John
Hartley's wife was deceased.
Six of John Hartley's children were named in the document:
Elizabeth, Ann Harden, Hannah Pearsall, Eleanor Hougland, Mary Wilson
and Margaret. It would seem that Elizabeth and Margaret were unmarried at
the time the will was written.
