Daniel was married (1st) in Warren, CT to Mehitabel Miles Seily?; (2nd) to Catherine Ripson Rouse, widow of Casper Rouse; (3rd) to Roxy Armstrong. He is said to have had 17 children; the order of birth shown here is likely incorrect, several missing children, unknown which child belonged to which wife.
Daniel moved from Warren, Litchfield Co. CT to Westfield (now Fort Ann) Washington Co, NY; settled in Hartford, NY. Then moved to Adams, Jefferson Co NY, being there in 1802 before the Couty was established. He left Adams in 1808 and moved to Cooperstown, Otsego Co NY where youngest child Salmon was born and finally moved to Ontario Canada.
Death is given as 1824 in one place in book; 1828 in another.
