Two Levi Davidsons are in the Perry County TN 1830 Census (p.230 & 231) - both between 30-40 years of age. Neither one appears to have a living spouse.

By 1850, Levi had married Sarah Lamberson - they probably married about 1839 in Perry Co TN. Children Rachel, Abraham & Cyrus that appear in 1850 were no doubt children of the first wife and there could have been others.

This is to certify that I Sarah Davidson the widow of Levi Davidson who deceased in the state of Tennesse have 8 minors heirs of the sd Davidson and I am their mother theirs names are as follows
Letcy Davidson Polly Davidson John Davidson Levi Davidson Thomas Davidson Nancy Davidson Lucy Davidson and Ann Davidson all under the age of 14 years
there is some money in the clerks hands in the county of Perry and State of Tennesee comeing to sd minors and I want Alvoree Davidson to act as their guardian for sd minors to draw said money and act as their guardian I want the Bond made in Green County Missouri.

Greene County, Missouri Probate Court Minute Book B. January Term 1854:
Alvoree Davidson was appointed guardian of Letsy, Polly, John, Levy, Thomas, Nancy, Lucy and Ann Davidson, minor heirs of Levy Davidson, deceased. Abram and Cirus Davidson minor heirs of Levy Davidson, deceased, chose Alvoree Davidson their guardian.

Greene County, Missouri Probate Minute Book C. May 1859:
A. Davidson, guardian of Sarah Davidson, ordered to pay $1.68 to following heirs:
Abram and Cyrus who each reeived 84 cents;
Alvoree and Josiah who eached received .84 cents and the others received a full share: Letty, Polly, John, Levi, Thomas, Lucy, Ann and Sarah.


In 1860, Sarah was head of household in Liberty Twp, Barry Co MO.
