p.237  24Jun 1746  John Moore, Executor of last will & testament of Matthew Jouett, late of Hanover, decd and Susanna Jouett, widow & relict of said Matthew to the Honourable Philip Lightfootof York, Esqr and Robert Jennings of Hanover. Will dated 31 Dec 1743, order all his land on Harris & Bever creeks in Louisa Co whereon the courthouse now stands should be sold.  For 287#'s. Parcels of land 3400 acres; 200 granted to James Walson by Patent and conveyed to Benjamin Taylor & bought the same back, but sd Jouett died before the deed executed.  Signed:  T.
