Chipman Phelps Turner

An article in "Historical Wyoming", Jan. 1959, states that Chipman was the second child born in the western portion of Wyoming county.
Of Aurora in Erie County NY. [GNIS gives Aurora as in Cayuga Co.]
In 1888, he published a brochure "The Pioneer Period of Western New York".

From the WAYNE SENTINEL of Palmyra, dated 18 Sep 1835.
Chipman P. Turner married Lovina Bush in Batavia. He apparently had a 2nd marriage.
