This group of records were transcribed into the civil records at a later date, and were clearly taken from a church register. Since the "birth" dates are all a bit later than that recorded on the earlier civil record, and since they came from a church book, I think it's fair to assume that these are actually baptism dates.Death
Abstracted death record reports that John was married and work as a railroad engineer at the time of his death. He was buried at Holy Road (sic) Cemetery, L.I. (Long Island).Endnotes
