Douville, Bernard C. 98, formerly of Waukegan passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at his daughter's home. He was born July 4, 1914 in Stephenson, Michigan to the late Harry and Mary Ellen (Landree) Douville. He moved to Illinois in 1937 to work for Johns-Manville Corp. where he eventually retired after 40 years of service. He was a proud member of the United States Army serving in China, Burma and India during WWII. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #731, J-M Quarter Century Club, Waukegan Senior Club and the St. Dismas Men's Club. He was an avid sports fan (Go Packers) and enjoyed cruises and traveling the world. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn C. (Wood) Douville. Other survivors include his daughter, Judith Dobnikar; sister, Rosellen Munto and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Danielson and two brothers, Gordon and Orlin Douville. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 23, 2013 10-11am at St. Dismas Church, 2600 Sunset Avenue, Waukegan. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am with interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville.
