Age given for Peter is 29, which matches my records for the Peter who was the son of Joseph Felix. Bride was 16 years old. Residence of Peter was Stephenson, Michigan. Residence of bride was Brown County, Wisconsin. Marriage was by Justice of the Peace.Census (family)
Enumerated with this family were Peter Shampo, a farmer, age 60; his wife, Mary, age 47; and children: Mose, age 24; Napoleon, age 18; Edith, age 16; Alice, age 14; William, age 12; Louis, age 10; and Laura, age 6. Peter and Mary had been married for 30 years, and it was the first marriage for each of them.
