-- 1881 Canadian Census: Saint-Etienne, div. 1, Saint-Maurice Co., Québec (Dist. 84, p. 13) shows this family living with the family of Antoine Marineau and Christine Lapolice. Were they just visiting? The names of the children are mostly there, but ages are a bit jumbled. Willie (or Wellie) was listed as age 6, and another child, William (or Villiam) was age 4. It seems that the reporter was a member of the family they were staying with, and was not very clear on these children and their ages. Was "Villiam" (listed as male) just a mixed-up repetition of Willie? Or is it a mixed up reference to Evelina?
