Residence (family)
"Mr. Mose Rabine," age 80, and "Mrs. Liza Rabine," age 60 were living at 41½ La Fayette St., in the same house and included in the same family, as "Mr. Mike Galvin," age 24; his wife, "Mrs. Mary Galvin," age 24, and their daughter, Hazel, age 3. Mose and Liza are reported to have been married for 25 years, ruling out the possibility that she was a third wife. Liza and Caroline must be the same person. Unless this is a completely different Mose Rabine. I don't know of another one in this county, let alone in Kingsbury, but the 25 years of marriage number is a problem. According to the 1900 Census, they were married in about 1897. Also, this 1910 census states that Mose was born in New York, which does not fit our Mose. On the other hand, I think this is likely to be an error as 1830 was very early for a French-Canadian immigrant to this area.http://interactive.ancestry.com/7884/4449813_00119?backurl=http%3a%2f%2fsearch.ancestry.com%2fsearch%2fdb.aspx%3fdbid%3d7884%26path%3d&ssrc=&backlabel=ReturnBrowsing#?imageId=4449813_00134
