This priest or scribe seemed to have a problem mixing up these two couples: Louis Guilmet and Genevieve Bellemare vs. Jean Baptiste Guilmet and Marie Bastarache (see christening note for Joachim Guilmet, son of Jean Baptiste). This baptismal record states that Magdeleine was the child of Louis Guilemet and Genevieve Bastarache (?! -- no such couple).
