Elisabeth "Lizzie" STETTLER

Apparently, she was a daughter of Elisabeth Haldeman, who was later informally adopted by Ernst Stettler. The 1900 Census lists her as a step-daughter of Ernst, but she did take his surname. Interestingly, Lizzie's marriage record to Charles Fenner reports her father's name as John L. Holden! Where does that come from?

"Lizzie had a wonderful personality. We all adored her. She'd scoop us up in her arms when she'd come home. Laughed and was jolly. Loved all of her family."
