Birth info from Menominee County Birth Records (FHL #1017367), Vol. D, p. 310. Also, baptismal record on file at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Stephenson. She was baptized at the age of two, on the same day as her brother. This was about two weeks after the death of their mother; apparently, Anna, who was Lutheran, prevented them from being baptized while she was alive. Or perhaps they were originally baptized Lutheran. In any case, the Catholic side of the family had the ceremony done soon after Anna's passing.
