Notes
Birth
Secondary sources report birth date as 11 June 1793, but contemporaneous baptism record, dated 23 June 1793, states that he was born the same day.Christen
Godparents were Jean Baptiste Jaumotte and Clemence Binon.Death
Charles was a brigadier in the militia at the time of his death. He died in the hospital of St Nicolas. The record was entered in Emines on 1 December 1815, from an extract delivered by the mayor of St. Nicolas. I wonder if he was wounded in the Battle of Waterloo.Endnotes
