Stella Elizabeth Raboin
Stella Elizabeth Raboin, 103, of Stephenson, Mich., passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012, at Roubal Care and Rehab Center. Stella was born on August 30, 1908, in Daggett, Mich. to the late Mose and Emily (Thoune) Raboin.
Stella worked as a drug clerk at the Daggett Drug Store for many years. Stella enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and spending time with her family. Stella was a member of the former St. Fredericks Catholic Church and Precious Blood Catholic Church where she was a member of the Sanctuary Society. Stella was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary and volunteered much of her time to the Cancer Society.
Stella is survived by her sister, Libby Raboin Moreau of Rhinelander, Wis. and many nieces and nephews. Stella was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters and nine half-brothers and sisters.
Visitation for Stella will be held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Father Michael Ocran officiating at 11 a.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church.
Burial will follow in Stephenson Township Cemetery.
