In the case of Joseph Beno versus L. J. Peasley et al. Beno, a former Brown County motorcycle officer, a verdict of $5,000 in favor of the plaintiff was awarded by a circuit court jury Wednesday afternoon. Beno lost his leg due to injuries received when his motorcycle collided with the defendant's truck at Denmark in 1928. The jury found that the defendant's truck driver was negligent and that his negligence was the cause of the accident.
