DELGUEL, DELGUIEL, DELQUIEL, DEZIEL, or DESDIELLE dit LABRECHE

Marriage from Jetté, p. 322. Pierre was the nephew of Jean DELGUEL dit LABRECHE (spouse of Louise VAUCHER).

I have not yet found records to officially confirm that Pierre is the father of Angélique, but am fairly certain based on geographical location and on the baptismal records of Joseph and Angélique's children. Pierre and Marie Anne were the only DELGUEL dit LABRECHE couple in the Louiseville area of the right age to be her parents. Also, Marie Anne served as godmother for Joseph and Angélique's first son, Antoine (24 Nov 1745), and Catherine LABRECHE, daughter of Pierre and Marie Anne, Catherine, served as godmother for Joseph and Angélique's daughter (our ancestor), Madeleine, baptized 6 Aug 1751.
