Individual Details
Irving Charles PERRIZO
(30 Apr 1908 - 10 Feb 1936)
Ran a movie theatre in Sauk Centre
Delores and others said he died in an auto accident. The Ancestry.com family tree owned by "thomnlinda" states that Perrizo relatives told them that he was shot by the mafia, who were trying to take over his business. I highly doubt this latter story.
An individual (user name hallaura1), who I think must be one of Rosella's other children, contributed this story to Ancestry.com (family tree owned by "thomnlinda") on 13 May 2007:
"I'm probably not the best person to be writing this story, but since there is nothing here . . . I'll tell what I have heard.
Irving was in the process of delivering movies to the theatres that his father, Charlie Perrizo, owned and died in an automobile accident on Jeanne's first birthday. He and my mother had taken in two foster children (their name escapes me at the moment), and Mom had to give them up after Irving death. Mom said that she played the piano during intermissions at the theatre in Sauk Centre that she and Irving ran. Jeanne said that Charlie Perrizo sold the theatre on the day of Irving's death. She heard about it when she ran into the lady who bought the theatre who recounted to Jeanne that she was on her honeymoon and Charlie contacted her and said if you want the theatre, you can buy it if you do it today. Jeanne said that her father, Irving, was the one who always took care of her, and took her everywhere he went."
