Primary source: Jetté. Tanguay lists three wives for Mathurin LORION: Françoise MORIN, Marie BARBIER, and Jeanne BIZET or BISETTE -- and gives Marie BARBIER as the mother of Marie LORION. The more detailed information provided in Jetté demonstrates that there could not have been another wife in between Françoise MORIN and Jeanne BIZET, and lists the latter as Marie's mother -- but this does not make sense in terms of the daughter's age! One possibility which would reconcile this is that Marie LORION may have been an illigitimate daughter of Marie BARBIER or Jeanne BIZET -- but this is by no means certain. I am assuming that Françoise MORIN was the mother.
