Notes
Birth
Age at death, according to the burial record, was 72 years, which would push his birth year back to 1767. This is probably an error, because his parents were not married until late 1771 and would have been too young in 1767. (Might he have been adopted? Strange that they named another son Pierre in 1780.) If he was indeed a child of Pierre Beaudouin and Marie Angélique Langlois, as the marriage record states, 1773 seems the most likely year. It is the earliest possible year after his first sibling's birth, and if later, he would not be old enough to marry in 1791.Endnotes
