Charles H BERINGER

Charles Beringer, 76, of Sheboygan, passed away today at his home following a lingering illness.
He was born on Feb. 26, 1871, in Saxony, Germany, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Beringer.
The family came to this country, direct to Sheboygan, in 1873. They have resided in this community since that time.
In 1891 he was married to Emma Engel, who preceded him in death. On Dec. 21, 1898, he was united in marriage with Anna Steinecker.
The survivors are his wife; eight children, Mrs. Ray (Lydia) Whitney of Pittsville WI, Mrs. Charles (Meta) Grobman of Sheboygan, Mrs. Walter (Emma) Meives of Phillips WI, Carl of Sheboygan, Mrs, Walter (Edna) Gandre of Milwaukee, Albert and John of Sheboygan and Mrs. Theodore (Dorothy) Korlesky of Route 1, Plymouth; 23 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Mrs. Pierre Heilberger and Mrs. Lester Oeldrich of Sheboygan, Edmund of Berkely CA, and Otto of South St. Paul MN.
Friends may call at Ballhorn Funeral chapels from Sunday
evening to the time of services.
Rites will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral chapels with Rev. E. C. Jaberg officiating.
Burial will be made in Wildwood cemetery.
