Joseph Fred LaHa, son of August Joseph LaHa and Agnes Marie Lenway, married Evelyn Laundrie (1896-1984), 06 MAR 1916 in Winchester, Wisconsin.
He was a lumberjack, miner, letter carrier, postal clerk, Town of Winchester chairman, councilman and treasurer by trade. His surname is also found spelled LaHaie, Lahaie, Lahae and LaHay. He was buried at the LaHa family plot in Riverside Cemetery, which was commonly called "Ironwood Cemetery."
His widow, Evelyn, is buried beside him.
