It's with great sorrow and heartfelt sadness we announce the death of Rosemary H. Pichette on January 12, 2003, at the age of 78 at a local nursing home. Rosemary was born on July 31, 1924, in Green Bay,Wisconsin.
She lived in Huntsville, Texas, from August 1975 until the present. Her strong faith in God helped her through many changes in her life, and she has nurtured this faith in her family. Her actions showed her deep love for her family and people around her. She always put the needs of others before her own without expecting anything in return. She was devoted to her family. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and lifelong friends. She also loved to read, work with ceramics, painting and card playing. For many years, she was a volunteer worker at Huntsville Memorial Hospital, Huntsville, Texas. She was a loving and much loved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Burkart in 1968, the father of children David, Mary Kay and Holly; her parents, Frank and Sis Zeise; her sisters, Joyce Rentmeester and Jean Zeise; and her brother, Jerry Zeise.
Her memory will be cherished always by husband William H. Pichette; by her son, David Burkart (Virginia); by her daughter, Mary Kay Berg (fiancé John Kamla) and Mary Kay's children, Jacob and Kelsey Berg; and by daughter Holly Pichette; and grandchildren Tina Rae (Ben) Fairweather, Sara Burkart, Ann Burkart, Gwen (Matt) Culbertson; her great-grand-daughter, Kailey Culbertson; sister and brother-in-law Donna (Robert) Neerdaels. Rosemary is further survived by numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law, Beverly Zeise, Evelyn Berg, La Verne Conard, James (Germaine) Burkart, Jim (Bev) Pichette, Yvonne (Larry) Mc Quade, Jane Quinette, Joan (Ron) Berkin, Sally (Bill) Benz, Gladys Pichette, and Ben Franckowiak; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends may call today, January 14, 2003, from 4-8 p.m. at Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. Parish prayer service will be 7:30 p.m. today. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, January 15, 2003, from 9-10 a.m. directly at St. Frances Xavier Cathedral, 140 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Monsignor Roy Klister officiating. Burial will be in the Allouez Cemetery. Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
Rosemary's family would like to give special thanks to all who supported and comforted her in the last few months of her life, to the caregivers and regular visitors at the nursing home, and to family and friends who visited, telephoned, and sent cards. We are very grateful for all the prayers and support that we received during this difficult time.
