Roland D. Desrocher, 88, of Cabot St., Salem, Mass., died Friday morning at his home. Husband of the late Marie (Vaillancourt) Desrocher. 
Born in Anthony, R.I., son of the late Paul and Dorilda (Desmarais) Desrocher.
Resided Salem, MA., Raymond, N.H. and returned to Salem, Mass.
Employed at Dube's Restaurant in Salem more than 20 years.
Member of Knights of Columbus Third Degree Verugua Council #76 of Salem and the Holy Name Society of Ste. Anne's Parish, Salem.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII.
Survived by daughter & son-in-law, Dorothy and Donald Berube, with whom he lived; a son & dsughter-in-law, Raymond & Patricia Desrocher; 14 grandchildren: Raymond, Richard, Ronald and Russell Desrocher; Louise Lynch, Diane Bushway, Denise Pantanella, Donald, Dennis, David, Dana, Donna, Debra and Danielle Berube; 14 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Eva Pilote of CA., Germaine Leduc and Annette Olsen of R.I., Adrienne Frazer of CA.; Donat Desrodher; several nieces & nephews. Brother of the late Jim & Armand Desrocher;.
Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, Salem. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
