Lavina L. RIGGS nee Mabel DANIELS

It seems that Mabel Daniels was adopted by Rensselair M. and Emma L. (Schwingel) Riggs, and renamed "Lavina." The marriage record gives her name as Lavina L. Riggs, but above that is written "Mabel L. Daniels." It further states that she was born in Barkley, Michigan to Herman Daniels and Edith Brouelette. The 1910 Census shows Mable living with her father and two siblings in Virginia, Minnesota, but the 1915 Iowa Census shows Lavina Riggs living with her new family, with the notation that she had come from the State Orphanage.
