Eleanor M. Rosera (Zach), 89, of Mt. Angel, died April 2, 2005. 
Born Feb. 5, 1916 in Scotts Bluff, Neb., she was a homemaker and lived in Mt. Angel for 43 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Catholic Foresters and Catholic Daughters of America. 
She enjoyed music and played the piano and accordion. She also enjoyed poetry and baking. She married Fred F. Rosera on Aug. 9, 1936 in Mt. Angel. He preceded her in death in 1984. 
She is survived by her sons, Charles Rosera of Woodburn, Ed Rosera of Molalla; daughter, Helen Scymanky of Salem; brothers, Lawrence Zach of Silverton, Fr. Adolf Placidus Zach of Mt. Angel; sisters, Lucy Zach of Anchorage, Alaska, Agnes Meyerhofer of Oregon City; Angela LoPiccolo of Boston; eight grandchildren and four great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Rosera in 1984; sons, Donald F. Rosera and George S. Rosera; sisters, Theresa Peters, Emma Mize, Clara West; brother, Ed Zach.
A funeral mass was held April 7 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mt. Angel. A Rosary was held April 6 at Cornwell Colonial Chapel in Woodburn. Arrangements are by Cornwell Colonial Chapel.
