Rueben Leonard KUTCHENRITER

Reuben Leonard Kutchenriter, age 77, of the Town of Menasha, died Friday morning July 25, 2008 at Theda Clark Medical Center. He was born on May 27, 1931 in the Town of Matteson, Wisconsin, the son of the late Gustave and Louise (Thielke) Kutchenriter. Reuben married Winefred Herter on January 16, 1952. Together they had seven children: Leonard, Mark, David, Peter, Cheryl, Lloyd and Carol.
Reuben worked various places throughout his life, including Eggers Hardwood Products in Neenah, where he retired from after 18 years of service. Reuben loved dancing, camping, visiting friends and relatives and conversation. In his younger days he enjoyed traveling with the family, fishing, camping and playing cards.
Reuben is survived by his brothers: Louis (Myrtle) and Arnold (Ruth); a sister Irene Krueger; children: Leonard (special friend Nancy), Mark (Lynn); David (Mary); Peter (Jill); Cheryl (Dan) Dausey; Lloyd (Linda); Carol (special friend Colleen Jordan) Kutchenriter; grandchildren: Brian Kutchenriter, Kristy Prunty, Daryl Kutchenriter, Laura Kutchenriter, Amelia Kleymann, Shane Kutchenriter, Tina Kutchenriter, Troy Bourasaw, Angela Bourasaw, Megan Kutchenriter and Kyra Kutchenriter; great-grandchildren: Logan Prunty, Lily Collier, Sarina Bourasaw and Kevin J. Hartzheim. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Winefred; brothers Leroy and David; sisters Alice, May and Rose, and a brother-in-law Alvin Krueger.
The Funeral Mass for Reuben will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London with Fr. Norman Krutzik officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday from noon until the time of the mass. In Lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established for the Menasha Senior Center in memory of Reuben.
