Michael J. Beaudo, 64, of Menominee, MI, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015, at home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on April 27, 1950, to the late Joseph and Marian (Hornick) Beaudo in Menominee.
Michael graduated in 1969 from Menominee High School and went on to serve his country in the Army, spending most of his time in Germany.
On May 19, 1973, Michael married Kathy Wuhrmann at Resurrection Parish. He had worked for 40 years at Ansul/Tyco and was very proud of not having to use any sick days during his career until his cancer. He loved hunting, going to camp up on M-35, and collecting aluminum, mostly cans.
Michael is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kathy; son, Kevin (Amanda) Beaudo of Lomira; daughter, Becky (Curt) Harding of Marinette; two brothers: Edward (Sue Raminger) Beaudo and Clarence "Chum" Beaudo, both of Menominee; a sister, Betty Englund of Menominee; and five grandchildren: Allison, Anna, and Jack Harding and Samantha and Evelyn Beaudo.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Chuck.
Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette on Saturday, February 14th from 9:30 to 11 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. with Deacon Steve Gretzinger officiating.
Entombment will be in Forest Home Mausoleum.
