Leonard "Tony" Spaude, age 84 of Menominee, MI passed away December 6, 2012 as a result of an injury. He was born July 10, 1928 to the late Leo and Mildred (Gypp) Spaude in Menominee, MI. In 1948, he married the former Doris Beaudo in Menominee. Tony worked for Clairmont Transfer Company until his retirement. He and his family later owned and operated The Lauerman Guest House Inn from 1985 to 2002. Tony loved to fish and go to his hunting camp with family and friends. He always had beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. He was an avid Green Bay Packer and Chicago Cubs fan and loved the Menominee Maroon football teams, never missing a home or away game. He was a member and past councilman at Christ Evangelical Church.
Tony is survived by his loving wife Doris of 64 years; daughters Doreen Lesperance, Sandi (John) Cecco, Sherry (Steve) Homa and Wendy (Neil) Kelly; 5 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He is further survived by one sister Judi (Jerry) Seid; one brother Loren (Moni) Spaude; two sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews and his dog Cubby. Along with his parents, Tony was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers and a granddaughter Tiffany.
