Jerome JOLLY

Jerome L. Jolly, 92, Green Bay, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2014. He was born on January 15, 1922 in Green Bay to the late Antone and Bertha (Anderson) Jolly. Jerome served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army. He served in the Signal Corp. and was stationed in New Guinea and the Philippines. Jerome received his honorable discharge on December 26, 1945. On June 1, 1946 he married Martha Deschane at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. Jerome worked for Pauly Cheese in various roles until his retirement. He also was a house painter. He was a talented handyman and happily shared his knowledge and skills with his family. Jerome was a kind and loving man who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially going to the cabin near Chute Pond. He enjoyed attending all of his children and grandchildrens activities and events. Jerome liked to go fishing and was an avid Packers fan. One of the biggest thrills of Jeromes life was participating in the Old Glory Honor Flight in July 2012. Jerome was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.He is survived by his loving wife, Martha; children, Tom (Janelle) Jolly; Roger (Bonnie) Jolly; Kathy (Richard) Fusek; Barb (Blake) Willems; Bill (Robin) Jolly; Dave (Lynn) Jolly; Mike (Dawn) Jolly; Mark (Terri) Jolly; son-in-law, Dan Renier; 19 grandchildren, Brett, Scott, Jeremy, Jessica, Craig, Todd, Chad, Kurt, Brian, Kevin, Nikki, Ryan, Eric, Sara, Tim, Clarissa, Matt, Zach and Nick, 12 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Chris Renier; granddaughter, Shelly (Jolly) Watke; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Catherine Deschane; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.Visitation will be held on Wednesday at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral Mass 12:00 noon Wednesday at the church with Rev. Robert Rhyner officiating. Military honors will follow the Funeral Mass and the entombment will take place at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
