Cristina F. Legaspi, 85, of 1717 N. 22nd St., passed away Sunday, September 10, 2006, at St. Nicholas Hospital.
Born September 27, 1920, in Manila, Philippines, Cristina was a daughter of the late Valentin Flores and Maria de la Cruz. On September 26, 1943, she was united in marriage to Emilio Legaspi, Sr. They were married for 17 years before Emilio preceded her in death on November 28, 1960.
Cristina was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheboygan and previously at Holy Hill in Mequon.
She is survived by children; her stepson; her grandson; her granddaughter; fifteen other grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives. Besides her husband, Emilio, Sr., she was preceded in death by her sons, Edgardo and Emilio, Jr., and a stepson, Emilio, III.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2006, at Holy Name Catholic Church, Superior Avenue. Rev. Tom Venne will celebrate the Mass. Relatives and friends are welcome at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of mass. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
Lippert-Olson Funeral Home has been entrusted with Cristina's arrangements.
