This child seems to have been born too late to be the son of my Marie Anne Quintal, who would have been about 53 at the time, so it's possible that this was a different couple. On the other hand, I have my doubts about Marie Anne being born in 1780, as that would make her 21 years older than her husband. The birthdate is taken from her burial record, which gives her age at death as about 54 years.
