Estella Marie "Stella" LEMIEUX

Mrs. Ervin Nolan, 57, of 40 S. Madison St. Chilton, died Friday at ST. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, where she had been a patient for a week.
She had been in ill health for several months.
The former Stella LeMieux, she was born May 12, 1902, st Bay Settlement in Brown County, a daughter of the lae Mr. and Mrs. Joseph LeMieux.
She attended Holy Cross Parochial School at Bay Settlement and taught music in Green Bay for many years after receiving her music degree from St. Joseph Academy in Green Bay.
She was married to Ervin Nolan on Oct 31, 1922 at Holy Cross Church in Bay Settlement.
Mrs. Noland and her husband operated the Chilton Greenhouse for many years until they sold it to a son Robert, several years ago.
She was a member of Joan of Arc Circle of the Daughters of Isabella in Calumet County.
Survivors are her husband: a daughter, Mrs. John C. (Marjorie) Brown of Vernon, Pa.; two sons, Robert of Chilton and Ervin, Jr. of Albuquerque, N.M. ; 13 grandchildren; three brothers, the Rev. Edward Lemeiux, a retired priest at Bay Settlement, Fred in Florida and Mose, Green Bay, and two sisters, Mrs. Florence Jorgensen of Arlington Heights, Ill., and Mrs Edward (Cecelia) VanLannen of Bay Settlement.
One daughter, Betty Jane, and a brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at the Pfeffer Funeral Hme and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Chilton with the Rev. Joseph Bartleme, pastor, as celebrant of the Requiem High Mass. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
The body will lie in state after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where a parish vigil will be held at 8 o'clock Sunday evening.
