Age 9 in 1930.Marriage
Margaret's first husband was killed in action on 29 March 1945, but was not returned home for burial until the end of December, 1948. By that time, she had remarried, as indicated by the newspaper article about Ray's burial, which referred to his widow as Mrs. Margaret Burger (Waterloo Daily Courier, 28 Dec 1948, page 20). An earlier small clip in the Waterloo Daily Courier (13 Jan 1948, page 16, column 8) reports that Edgar N. and Luna M. Humiston were transferring real estate to Frances (sic) L. and Luna M.
