Birth
The record on FamilySearch is transcribed "Felin" -- almost certainly an transcription error. Felix seems more likely based on the writing of the day, and more importantly, because Felix Lurquin was the friend and mentor of Ferdinand and the father of Catherine Antoinette. It seems likely that they would name their firstborn son after him. I'll take a leap for now, but will try to get a look at the original record.Endnotes
