Record gives mother`s name as Marie Anne Bergeron, but I think this is an error. I can find no Marie Anne Bergeron married to a Gabriel Manseau at this (or any) time. It seems that the priest mistakenly used the surname of the godmother, Elisabeth Bergeron, for the mother as well.
