Greely Cornelius Kirkpatrick, Jr. was born 27 October 1915 in Mississippi, and died 28 January 1994. He married Marion ("Biddy") Halbert, who was born 22 August 1921. G. C. owned and operated the Office Supply Store in Aberdeen, Monroe County, Mississippi, until his retirement.

ABERDEEN -- Greely Cornelius Kirkpatrick Jr., 78, retired owner of an office supply store in Aberdeen, died Friday at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Lann Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Aberdeen Country Club and Aberdeen Church of Christ. Mr. Kirkpatrick, the husband of Marion Halbert 'Biddy' Kirkpatrick, also leaves a daughter, Brenda Kirkpatrick Harrington of Starkville; a son, Greely Cornelius Kirkpatrick of Sparta, Mo.; two sisters, Louise Kirkpatrick of Aberdeen and Emalene Embry of St. Petersburg, Fla., six grandchildren and a great-grandson. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, any memorials be sent to Sunnybrook Children's Home in Jackson.
