From Legacy.com: Gaston Mancel (Kirk) Kirkpatrick, 73, of Dallas, Texas passed away on October 22, 2017. He was born in Waxahachie, Texas on February 20, 1944 to Marcille and Gaston Kirkpatrick. Mancel graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. He married Glynda Fay Harris on August 16, 1963.
Mancel worked in sales for McCormick Foods, Contrac Packaging, and Premark Health Science. He was a member and elder at Eastridge Park Christian Church, and was a member of the U.S. Golf Association. Mancel had a passion for golf and reading, and loved anything that involved spending time with his granddaughter, Sarah.
Mancel is survived by his wife, Glynda Kirkpatrick; children Gina Tirmenstein and Toni Mackinson; grandchildren, Sarah Tirmenstein and Devon Jones; and 2 nieces, 3 nephews, and 2 cousins.
Visitation will be Friday, October 27, 2017 from 6-8pm at Sparkman Funeral Home in Richardson. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 2pm at Sparkman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Dallas. Serving as Pallbearers will be Mike Harris, Jason Harris, Skott Knowles, Bryan Knowles, Eric Hodge and Keith Hallmark. Donations may be made to Eastridge Park Christian Church, 2701 N Town East Blvd., Mesquite, TX 75150.
