Olive D. Bingham

The Post & Record, Rochester, Minnesota, Friday, October 23, 1908, Front Page, Col. 3: Passed to Eternal Rest. After Months of Suffering Mrs. Olive Clason Succumbs to Disease. In the death of Mrs. Clason, wife of A. Clason, Olmsted county lose a woman of find character. For a number of moths the deceased had been a sufferer from sarcoma and through all the insidious progress of the disease, she bore herself with great Christian fortitude and patience although death was not unwelcome. The end came Wednesday. Olive Bingham was born in Iowa, later removing to Olmsted county. She was wedded to Abraham Clason and they have three children who survive, namely Mrs. Chas. Stevens, Mrs. John Koelsch and Mrs. Conrad Koelsch, all of whom reside in the same neighborhood near Douglas. Mrs. Clason was a woman whose influence was felt and recognized by all who knew her. She was a consistent Christian, broad-minded and charitable and to know her was to held her in high esteem. Funeral services will be held from the house Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
