Funeral services for William Henry Clampet, 73, a resident of Sesser for 20 years, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Sesser Christian Church. Burial was in Primitive Baptist Cemetery. Clampet died Friday at Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin. He leaves his wife, Lenora; a stepson, Ray Smith, Cambridge, Wis.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Irene Ward, Gary, Ind.; one brother, Elmer Clampet, Sesser; a sister, Mrs. Emalyne Stewart, Shelton, Wash., and seven grandchildren. The Brayfield Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
