ARLINGTON - Dorris Kirkpatrick Hollabaugh, 83, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, in Arlington. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at First United Methodist Church of Arlington, 313 N. Center St. Graveside service: 1 p.m. in Maypearl Cemetery at 1 p.m. in Maypearl. Visitation: noon to 9 p.m. Thursday; the family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials: Alzheimer's Disease, Greater Dallas Chapter, 2910 Swiss Ave., Dallas, Texas 75204. Mrs. Hollabaugh earned her bachelor's degree from North Texas State University and her master's in education from Southwestern University. She was a teacher for 32 years and retired as a real estate broker from Ebby Halliday. She was also the owner/operator of Education Inc. for 35 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Arlington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aulton Bud Hollabaugh. Survivors: Son, Pat Hollabaugh and wife, Sharon, of Arlington; daughter, Mary Kay Rose and husband, James, of Arlington; brothers, Claude Kirkpatrick of Levelland and Bill Kirkpatrick of Waxahachie; grandchildren, Byron Kendall, Jonathan and Mary Elizabeth Rose of Arlington, Don Perkins of Arlington and Jerri Burrier and husband, Randal, of Austin; and great-grandchild, Randal Lance Burrier.
