Delma Dixon "Dede" Carr

Winston County Journal, Louisville, Mississippi, Wednesday, November 9, 2005: Funeral services for Mrs. Dede Carr Reich, 97, were held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at First United Methodist Church in Louisville. Rev. Prentiss Gordon and Rev. Mike Childs officiated. Burial followed in the Masonic Cemetery. A native of Winston County, Mrs. Reich was a homemaker and a member of the Fortnightly Club and the Louisville Music Club. She was a member of the Ladies' Bible Class and was an organist at First Methodist Church for many years. Mrs. Reich died Monday, October 31, 2005, at the Winston County Nursing Home. Survivors include her two nephews, Dickie McGraw and Sam Hopkins, and her niece, Alma Jean Cox. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Music Department, P.O. Box 523, Louisville, MS 39339.Porter Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.
