Dr. Leonard McKnight Wright, 79, retired physician and resident of Long Beach for 35 years, died Sunday in a local hospital. Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Mottell's Chapel with Rev. Henry W. Corey officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Memorial Park. Dr. Wright, who resided at 2318 Elm Ave., had been a staff member of Seaside, St. Mary's and Community Hospitals. He is survived by his wife, Zephirena; a daughter, Margaret of Long Beach; and two sisters, Rena Wright of Long Beach and Mrs. Laurence Henderson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
