Gunderson, age 76, died on Friday, December 1, 1989, in his home following an extended illness. He is survived by his wife, Nora of Reedsburg; his mother, Myrtle Gunderson of Reedsburg; a sister, Joyce Braithwaite of Baraboo; two step-daughters, Audry (Mrs. Herb) Crabtree of Reedsburg and Darlene Knudson of Waukesha; a step-son, Edward (Margie) King of Baytown, Texas; twelve step-grandchildren; thirteen step-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, George Gunderson; and a step-grandson. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, at the Gant-Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg, with Reverend Michael Ida and Reverend Howard Wynne officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, at the funeral home.
