She had been seriously ill for six weeks. She was born July 4, 1907, at Marcelline, Mo., the daughter of Charles E. and Alta F. Womack Richards. She married Orville Arnold in November of 1927; he died May 17, 1955. She had been employed at Richmond clinic for 15 years. She was a member of Union Presbyterian church. Surviving: Two brothers, J. O. Richards and C.E. (Eddie) Richards, Jr., both of Ft. Madison; three sisters, Mrs. C. M. (Ferne) Huffaker, Ft. Madison, Mrs. Hal F. (Mabel) Peavler, Clearwater, Fla., and Mrs. Linn (Betty) Edlen, Portland, Ore. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Friday, King-Lynk funeral home. Rev. Arthur E. Nash, Oakland cemetery. A memorial has been established for Union Presbyterian church.
