Marguerite Jordan Files Petition Asking That She Be named As Administratrix. Miss Marguerite Irene Jordan has filed a petition in the superior court asking that she be appointed administratrix of the estate of the late Rev. Harvey S. Jordan, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, who died suddenly in this city one week ago last Saturday.
In her petition which was filed yesterday afternoon, Miss Jordan says that as far as is known her father left no will. The petition states that the estate consists of real estate valued at $8,000, a life insurance policy in the amount of $5,500, a library valued at $200, household furniture worth $200 and $280 in cash.
There was also filed a petition by Miss Hattie Adele Jordan, another daughter of the deceased, asking that she be appointed guardian of Harvey B. Jordan, the 14-year-old son of the late Dr. Jordan.
