Frank Harvey Wine

Posted at findagrave.com: Obituary from The Messenger of Truth Issue 2, 1986---Frank Wine was born to Linsley and Nellie Bear Wine on August 3, 1901, at Big Sandy, Texas. He passed away on December 27, 1985, at his home in Rich Hill, Missouri, reaching the age of eighty-four years.
In 1925, he became converted and was baptized into the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite by Min. Frank Wenger on February 1, 1925, at Rich Hill, Missouri. He was true and faithful to this faith until the end.
On September 9, 1926, he was married to Katherine Mastre at Grafton, North Dakota. They shared joys and sorrows for over forty-seven years. They lived in Colorado, Missouri, Kansas, and California. They returned to Grafton, North Dakota, in 1957. She was taken from his side on December 12, 1973.
On March 4, 1977, he married Ida Black of Rich Hill, Missouri. They shared eight years together, spending most of their time at Rich Hill, Missouri.
He leaves to mourn his death: his wife, Ida; two daughters: Floy Glaze of Grafton, North Dakota; Mrs. Allen (Lemay) Koehn of Edinburg, North Dakota; seven step-children; one sister, Mrs. Olein Pedin of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren, besides a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Katherine; one son, Manfred; his parents; two brothers, Fred and Boyd; three sisters: Minnie, Bessie, and Grace; one grandson, Donald Koehn; one step-daughter; and two step-grandchildren.
Services were held on December 30, 1985, at the Bethany Mennonite Church, Rich Hill, Missouri. Min. Ben Becker officiated. The body was then taken to Grafton, North Dakota, where services were held on December 31, 1985, at the Grafton Mennonite Church, with Ministers Raymond Ensz, Clifford Mastre, and Donald Fricke officiating. Committal services were conducted by Min. Clifford Mastre.
