Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal, Dec. 13, 2005: Amory - Frances Glozier Kirkpatrick, 94, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at her home after an extended illness. She was born June 6, 1911, in Amory to the late Taylor and Pearl Walker Glozier. She was a lifelong resident of Amory and was married to Sam Kirkpatrick in 1933; he died in 1986. She was a retired telephone operator with Bellsouth and a member of the Bell Pioneers. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Amory. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Amory Masonic Cemetery with Dr. Allen Simpson officiating. E.E. Pickle Funeral Home of Amory is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her caregiver and cousin, Martha Monaghan of Amory; and one niece, Carolyn Caruthers of Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and two brothers.

Pallbearers will be Boonie Stockton, Locke Stockton, Hal Rogers and Jerry Reese. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 540, Amory, MS 38821.
