Posted at findagrave.com: Floretta Aycock Smith passed away on Saturday April 30, 2016, at the age of 102. Graveside services will be held at the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Farmersville, Texas, on Saturday May 7 at 1p.m. with Dr. Bart Barber officiating. Visitation will be at Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home from ll:30 to 12:30 preceding the service. Floretta was born in Farmersville, Texas, on July 29, 1913 and lived most of her life here until moving to Ft. Worth some years ago to be near her daughter. She and her husband Clarence owned and operated Smith Grocery on the square during the 1950s. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence Smith, and all three of her sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Carmen Deithloff, and husband John, grandson Andrew Deithloff and wife Danielle, grandson Tim Deithloff and wife Leta, two great grandchildren, Tyler and Avery, and 4 nephews and 3 nieces. Memorials if desired to First Baptist Church, PO Box 681, Farmersville, Texas 75442.
